Whilton marina has been attending the Crick Boat Show since it started 14 years ago, and during this time we have seen many changes over the years. We also know that many people who attend the show are ready to part exchange their narrow boat and come to the show to do a deal.

With so many narrow boats for sale and with our Crick Boat Show deals part exchanging at the show is a brilliant time to buy another narrow boat from Whilton marina.

How the part exchange service works

1. Visit us at the Crick Boat show during the May Bank Holiday or any time at our marina just 20 minutes from the show ground. We have the largest selection of narrow boats for sale at our marina, so we are sure you will find a suitable new narrow boat and we will part exchange and broker a deal with you.

2. We will do a FREE no obligation valuation of your narrow boat anywhere on the Inland Waterway. Please call to arrange an informal chat and to arrange an appointment to suit you.

3. Once we have valued your boat we will give you a price to part exchange. When this has been agreed and you have seen a boat at our marina that you would like to part exchange your boat for, you can deliver your narrow boat to our marina ready to part exchange for your new boat.

4. We will then sort out the exchange, sometimes it works that it is a like for like straight swap. But where there is a balance to pay this must be settled before taking posession of your new boat. Once the narrow boat is fully paid for we will give you a paid invoice, a bill of sale, title documents and any manuals or boat safety certificates that relate to the boat that we have.

5. Once your narrow boat has been delivered to our marina we will moor the boats alongside one another and you will be able to move your belongings into your new boat. During this time we will offer you FREE moorings for a sensible period of time, allowing you to move everything into your new narrow boat.

6. If you require a member of staff to show you around the new narrow boat we can organise a hand over service, if not once you have emptied your old boat you can leave the marina as soon as you are ready.
