Our free prize draw was very well recieved by all the visitors to our two stands at the Crick Boat Show, wiith over 1,000 applications for the draw!  We thought we would share this photograph with you all.  The draw will take place tomorrow and the three winners will be contacted by telephone or email.The winners will also be announced on our blogs soon, so keep following!The Whilton Team.

Yesterday we put up our tent at the Crick Boat Show.  Here is the before and after pictures!  We are going to put the finishing touches to the tent this morning then we are all ready.....!  See you there!

Good Morning Narrowboaters today is the start of the biggest inland waterways show of the year!Come and see the Whilton Team in the Kingfisher Marquee at the Crick Boat Show , just off the M1 Junction 18 in between Rugby and Daventry. Our two Ruby boats are moored on the marina polished and ready to view!Our stand in the Marquee displays the large stock of boats we have available to view only 15 minutes away from the Crick Show Ground!Look out for our promotional team and sales team who will be ....

So its the day before the Crick Boat Show....Just a reminder that Whilton Marina is only 6 Miles away from the Crick Show (by car) and Wigrams Turn Marina is only 8 miles away (by car)!  We also have an extensive selection of narrowboats (around 100!) for sale ranging from £9,950 to £84,950!!  We are open the whole bank holiday weekend from 9am till 6pm at both offices.See you there at the Crick Boat Show!

There will be three promotional girls coming to the Crick Boat Show with us.  They will be giving out sweets and competition flyers and will be able to direct you to our stands, Whilton and Wigrams Turn Marina!

Congratulations to a Mr and Mrs May who very appropriately are this months winner of the Wine and Windlass Competition. They are the proud new owners of Narrowboat Wren. The Whilton team hopes that they enjoy their new boat.

We'll be taking two Ruby Range Narrowboats to the Crick Boat Show.  These are currently at a discounted special rate whilst stocks last (click here).  Majdi from the factory in China (where the boats are made) will also be around to answer any questions you may have!

At the Crick Boat Show we will be running a competition (anyone can enter and its free)!  All you need to do is go to our stand or speak to a member of staff to fill in a form.  Come and find out what the three prizes are!

With just less than a week to go till this years Crick Boat Show, we would like to announce some of the things that we're going to be doing at the show.  Everyday from now until the Crick Boat Show we will be telling you one different thing that we'll be doing.1. We have a large population of ducks at the Marina and we have one very large duck in particular who likes eating Waitrose's Madiera Cake!

As it is our 40th this month the Daventry Express have done a feature on us! In the article Whilton Marina's Andy Robinson explains what a trail blazing idea Mr Steele had to dig out one of the first inland marinas.  See the picture below.

During the 1970's we used to manufacture & sell fibreglass boats at Whilton Marina, using Buckingham Moulds, they were called Whilton 18 & 20.

We currently have 102 narrowboat at whilton Marina either for sale or going through the sales process!  16 of these canal boats are at Wigrams Turn Marina and a couple are on their way here.  Never the less it is still a lot of narrowboats!

With only 3 weeks today until the Crick Boat Show opens lets hope that the weather isn't like it is today - lots of rain! Whilton Marina is only about 6 miles away from the Crick Show site, so it's probably raining there too!What ever the weather we will be there displaying all the narrowboats we have for sale and taking two of our Ruby Range Canal Boats too.

As mentioned in yesterdays blog we are collecting our first boat from Scotland!Take a look at a few of our pictures of the boat movers trip along the Caladonian Canal.Can you see the British Waterways lock keepers helping our boat movers!The Falkirk Wheel...Here are the British Waterways lock keepers with Whilton Marina's Robert Steele collecting their bottle of Whilton Marina branded wine.  It looks like the bottle of wine each was well deserved!
