If you are looking for a narrow boat but you are unsure where to start your search, then we have the answer - The Crick Boat Show 2016.

The Crick boat show which is held over three days enables you to view a variety of different boats and speak to many experts in the boating field all in one easy to get to location. It's no wonder it's the most popular narrow boat show in the UK!

Over the show weekend you will be able to visit lots of brokers stands, so if you're looking to buy a narrowboat it's a great place to start because you'll be able to compare lots of narrow boat specifications in one place.

Save up to 20% off the gate prices by booking your tickets in advance. Don’t forget to book your mooring or camping at the same time!

So before the show weekend it's worth doing a bit of research into what style, length and price of boat you are considering buying. You will find that when you get to the show, it's a bit like being a kid in a sweet shop, the choice is so vast it can make knowing what you should choose rather difficult. Knowing your budget and requirements will also help narrow boat brokers, guide you to the boats that match your purse and needs. Check out the narrow boats we have for sale to get the ball rolling. Our guide to getting a float is also worth reading if you are new to boating and need some basic information.

If you have been hankering to own or hire a boat, but are nervous about how to navigate the waterways, then the new Boat Handler Taster Sessions at the show are an ideal way to build confidence and get a feel for what’s involved. The sessions will be expertly led by The Narrowboat Skills Centre, Willow Wren Training and Watercraft. The boat trainers will talk you through the basics of casting off, mooring up, boat etiquette, rope handling, breaking down boat jargon as well as the dreaded lock navigation! You’ll get the chance to steer the boat under the supervision of an experienced boater. Each session can accommodate up to 4 people at once making it an ideal experience for the whole family. For more information about the course see this link to the Boat Handler Taster Course page on the Crick Boat Show website.

If you take a look on the Crick boat show website you can start planning who you would like to see and where they will be situated within the show grounds. We will be in the Waterways World Boating Marquee on stand WW8 - WW15.

It's also worth mentioning our marina is only ten minutes down the road. You don't need to book an appointment to see us at the show or at the marina, just pop along for a chat and view as many boats as you like. Your show pass will allow you in and out of the show grounds, so if you wish to visit our marina or take a look around Crick village you can do so, just show your show pass when you return to the show grounds.

The show weekend is a good time to make a new purchase or look for a part exchange deal. Many sellers wait till now to put their narrow boats on the market as they know this time of year is a key time for buyers and they will get a quick sale. So it's a win win situation for buyers and sellers, sealing a deal over the Bank holiday weekend couldn't be easier especially if you deal with us.

We will be offering our ever popular goodie bags full of useful information and a few sweet treats too. Be sure to pop and see us in the Waterways World Boating Marquee on stand number WW8 - WW15, our team will be pleased to see you and help you in any way we can.
