For those customers who have been waiting to view this widebeam boat, the boat should be viewable sometime on Wednesday 29th June at Whilton Marina, it may be best to ring us to confirm first though.  A Bientot is a 53ft cruiser style widebeam which is 11ft 4" wide, built by South West Durham, Steelcraft in 2003 and is for sale for £49,950 complete with a recent hull survey, blacking & new annodes.

Just Arrived! 'Elly J' is a 59ft traditional style canal boat built by Liverpool Boats in 2007, priced at £58,950 and can be viewed at Whilton. 'Kingfisher' is a 70ft traditional style canal boat built by R&D in 1989, priced at £42,950 and can be viewed at Whilton Marina.

We have lots of fruit trees here at Whilton Marina which grow plums, pears, apples and damsons!

A pied wagtail bird has been nesting in the tractor that we use to haul out the boats! Its still feeding its chicks when the tractor is moving!

Each pier at Whilton Marina has its own water point! Very handy if you are mooring here!

The Grand Union Canal is the longest canal on the inland waterways system and Whilton Marina lies on it!

Narrowboat LouiseNewly arrived is narrowboat Louise, a 50ft semi traditional style canal boat built by Reeves in 1994.  The specifications include central heating, solid fuel stove &  a 300watt inverter.  There are three berths including a permanent double bed.  There is a current boat safety certificate which runs until January 2014.

This morning Ms P Holmes came to collect her first prize of £250 worth of Midland Chandlers Vouchers!  She was absolutely delighted and will put the money towards refurbishing her narrowboat!In the picture below Ms P Holmes is receiving her prize from Whilton Marina's Abi Steele.

Redshank is a 57ft semi-traditional style canal boat built by Ian Clifton in 1990, lying at Whilton & reduced from £34,950 to £31,950.Lucy Ellen is a 38ft cruiser style canal boat built by Coles Morton in 1982, lying at Whilton & reduced from £19,950 to £17,950.
