The Crick Boat Show is a great place to buy and sell your narrow boats so come and talk to Whilton marina. We have been buying and selling since 1971 and our sales team has years of experience we can share with you.

Our boats are priced to sell and due to this you will certainly be getting value for money when you deal with us. We have heard people say many times “wow that’s an amazing price saw a similar boat for much more money than that recently” and no doubt that boat still moored there as it’s not been marketed at a competitive price. We know what sells and at what price, we are here to help people sell and buy and we want to do that in a timely and professional manner.
At Whilton there are no pushy sales people we welcome you to come to our marina and wander around the piers and show rooms looking at as many canal boats as you want. It doesn’t cost anything to visit our marina and we are sure you will go away with the boat of your dreams. Our staff are all trained to answer any of your boating questions, so don’t be shy we have been asked all sorts of questions in the past, in fact we like the variety of questions and challenge of helping you out.
There’s no need to book an appointment just turn up, you will find plenty of car parking spaces and we have great facilities here at the marina. We have a
canal café and chandlery so there is somewhere to have refreshments and you can do a bit of shopping too!
We recommend you take a max of 3 keys for boats you want to have a look around at one time. Then once you have viewed them return those keys and collect some more if necessary. We have brochures ready for you to take away if you would like to take away some information about a canal boat that might have taken your fancy!
In our sales office all the canal boats we are marketing are displayed on our display boards you can wander around and then request the brochures of the boats you are interested in. The sales office has a very relaxed atmosphere, with the team on hand to answer any of your questions during your visit. You will not be put under any pressure to buy!
Once you decide which narrow boats you want to look at we will issue you with the brochures, keys and a map of the marina. All the boats are shown on the map making finding the boat quick and easy.
Once down in the marina you will notice that all our boats are clearly identified by a sales card in the window. See example below...
You will notice that all our narrow boats have a QR code so you are able to scan the barcode with your tablet or mobile phone and down load the PDF brochure for any boat that catches your eye, whilst down in the marina. We believe at the moment we are the only UK narrow boat marina that offers this modern solution.
On every canal boat that we have for sale at Whilton Marina there is also a brief description of each boat, just like the one in our office. So if you are unsure about any specification of the narrowboat that you are viewing this will give you some more information about it.
