Snowy Narrowboats At Whilton Marina   Siberian weather has arrived once again!  The marnia is looking very wintry, with an inch or more covering of snow on the narrowboats. Everywhere is very icy as the weather has been zero or below since last Thursday and there is no sign of a thaw yet.  So maybe we might have a white Christmas this year.Take great care when stepping on and off the boats as they are extremely slippery.These pictures of snow covered narro....

I have just come back to work after my days off. I spent the time preparing my narrowboat for cruising this holiday, we like to go out over the Christmas break, the canal is stunning at this time of year even when it is cold, there is nothing nicer than having the fire going, scoffing good food and having a glass or two with friends. Widebeam Boat Arriving Soon at Whilton Marina    Heather is a 55ft cruiser style widebeam boat, built by V&G in 2004.  The specifications include two permanent double beds each in it's own bedroom, Isuzu 45 engine, Mikuni central heating, diesel stove, Phoenix Victron 2500w inverter, Sani Marine pumpout toilet & shower.  Last blacked & annodes replaced in 2006 and there will be a new boat safety certificate included in the sale price of £....
