We have had a few days of cold weather -9 ºC on Tuesday morning so everything here  on the marina is frozen solid. This creates real problems with two narrowboats that are under offer being surveyed today, and a narrowboat we have just sold being craned away to its new home in Devizes in the morning. Narrowboat Salamander has just had its hull blacked so re-launching her will be a slow and careful job. I have another overseas customer who is looking at buying a narrowboat this customer....

We have been back to work now for 3 days and we have been very busy, hence my lack of words on the Blog. We sold three narrowboats on our first day back and one today, not a bad start to the year. Today three of us are looking after the Customers, Charles is busy explaining the differences between the stern types and the advantages of each, this link might help if you are not sure,  Dave is talking with the last owner of narrowboat Goldie about the new owner getting her grounded in the summ....
