Bancroft is a 4 berth, 53ft traditional style narrowboat, built in 1991 by Colecraft. She features a saloon with stove and sofa bed, a U-shaped galley with oven, hob and fridge, a bathroom with hip bath, toilet and vanity basin, a Gardner 2LW in a central engine room and a boatman's cabin with pull down bed and stove at the stern.
