Job Description:

Whilton Marina are looking for a hard-working and active person to work 5 days per week, including one weekend day and all bank holidays, at our marina near Daventry in Northamptonshire.
The job is varied and will include using our boat crane, blacking of boat hulls, boat cleaning and general upkeep of the marina facilities. Must have a full driving licence as the job will include driving duties

Hours are 5 days per week, and must include one weekend day and all bank holidays from 09:00 to 17:00 during the winter and 09:00 to 17:30 during the summer. Two days off per week will be given on two consecutive days.

No experience is necessary as full training will be given, but some experience of working with narrowboats would be beneficial. The job does include physical work.

General duties include:

- Blacking of boat hulls
- Use of the boat crane (full training will be given)
- Boat moving (training will be given)
- Preparing boats for sale (internally and externally)
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of sales area
- Washing sales boats to make presentable for marketing
- Must have an eye for detail and the ability to work under your own initiative
- Must have a full driving licence

Uniform will be provided.

Pay: £13.50 per hour
