Here is your don't forget list!

We love collating a list, so we decided to share the essentials that every boater should have on board.

 

You will save yourself a lot of anguish and maybe even a life if you and your boat are properly equipped!

Don’t leave the shore without checking you have these essentials on board for a safe, pleasurable and prepared journey!

  • Folding chairs and table for outdoor use
  • BBQ
  • Hose pipe
  • Watering can

  • Bedding
  • Throws for the sofa
  • Towels
  • Tea towels/dish cloths

  • A battery powered vacuum cleaner
  • Spare portable toilet (just in case)
  • Paper work – insurance, boat safety certificate

Depending on the length of your journey don't forget to pack enough clothes and food. You can always top up the larder during your journey, but its always nice to have the essentials on board to start off, so the first few miles cruising are not spent desperate for a cuppa and a biscuit!
