Whilton Marina, Venetian Marina and Cosgrove Park to attend this year's Crick Boat Show

Crick Boat Show 2012

We will be attending this years Crick Boat Show in Northamptonshire from the 2nd to the 5th of June 2012. We'll be in the Kingfisher Stand KF11 to18. We'll also be bringing along our sister companies Venetian Marina and also Cosgrove Park this year to exhibit what they have on offer.

What we will be exhibiting:

All the boats we have for sale at Whilton and Venetian Marina will be on display

We'll be giving out some freebies in Whilton/Venetian Bag

We will also have a special promotion on the stand - to be revealed at the show

Cosgrove Park will also have some special promotions - to be revealed at the show

Hairy Narrowboat!

Not hairy bikers, hairy narrowboats! Just look at this picture of a boat that was delivered to Whilton Marina yesterday. It has a lovely long green algae beard and doesn't look as if it has been out of the canal in ages.

This demonstrates why you should get your narrowboat out of the water every few years to pressure wash and re black to keep your narrowboat hull maintained in good order.

First Narrow Boat For Sale at Venetian Marina

We are pleased to announce the first narrowboat for sale at Venetian Marina. As the Venetian Marina web site is not quite ready to go live yet, you can view the boat which is called Lucille on our web site, click on the boat name to see the details.

Narrwboat 'Lucille' is a 2007 58 foot Cruiser style narrowboat built by Liverpool Boat Co. and fitted out by Mellor Boatbuilders. The boat is moored at Venetian Marina (Nantwich) available for viewing priced at £39,500

Whilton 44 Ex demonstration Narrowboats Arrive For Sale At Whilton Marina

Several new Whilton 44 narrowboats have just arrived at Whilton Marina. There are two versions available the dinette and non dinette and both are priced at £49,950 to include coach stripes and fenders. These new boats offer great value for money and are superbly fitted out using bamboo. The boats will be RCD compliant at the point of sale.

Lockgate Cafe at Whilton Marina is now open seven days a week

We are pleased to announce that our on site cafe 'The Lockgate' cafe is now opening every day, yes that's seven days every week!

Why not come and sample some of Annette and Sandras delicious home made food, home made cakes, all day breakfasts and sunday lunches (booking required by the Friday before for Sunday lunch)

This weeks Sunday lunch menu is Roast Lamb with mint jelly, roast potaoes, yorkshire pudding, fresh cabbage, carrots and creamed swede. With home made chocolate sponge with chocolate sauce to follow! £8 for one course or two courses for £10, what great value!

Whilton Marina donates a Wine presentation pack to Sightsavers

Narrowboat Broker Whilton Marina donates a Wine presentation pack to the charity Sightsavers to use in their prize draw. Sightsavers is a charity that believes that no one should be blind from avoidable causes, and that people's whose sight can't be saved should live with dignity and independence.
